Bug, upgrade (probably), xfce screensaver

#1 Post by jj 5117 »

It was probably a recent upgrade which caused the XFCE mice to jerk around in the screensaver. No other obvious video problems.

I thought that I should mention it.

Thank you.

We haven't updated either of those recently.

The kernel, yes. Does it still do that on the previous kernel?
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

Hi @Stevo,

Sorry. I should have tested that and posted it.
It does not happen with the prior kernel, 6.14.10-2-liquorix.

Aaaand, while typing this I tested it on the 6.15 (QSI) kernel again, after booting 6.14.
The mice are much improved, but still a little bit jerky.
I just intended the OP info as possibly useful fluff info for gurus.

Thank you.
