Network problem
Network problem
Good morning. I have a problem connecting to the Internet on a machine with MX. One day, after starting it, the connection manager in the notification tray shows the connected network icon, but when going to Firefox and searching for anything, it shows there is no connection. I tried changing the IPV4 and IPV6 settings from the GUI network editor, but the only result is that now, instead of loading the pages infinitely, Firefox detects the absence of a connection. Going into the network settings, in the ipv4 netmask section, a number like 24 or 16 is set. When I try to set the IP manually and enter the netmask as 255.255.255.0, exiting and re-entering the editor, I find that the number has been reset to 24 or 16 or another.
Re: Network problem
Well, you still haven't provided us a QSI, but maybe at least throw us a bone and let us know if this is a wired or wi-fi connection, and if it is working on any other devices?
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

Re: Network problem
Sorry, I forgot saying I was on a DELL Optiplex 760 running MX 21 with a wired connectiopn, but I just solved it removing torbrowser launcher. I think it set up a Tor bridge and system was unable tu connect to normal net, even it sounds very strange.
