Hibernate aktivieren

Hi,

ich habe mir einen neuen PC mit MX 23 eingerichtet aber der Ruhezustand (Hibernate) funktioniert nicht. Die Anleitung aus dem Wiki https://mxlinux.org/wiki/system/hibernate/ funktioniert ist anscheinend veraltet. An anderer Stelle hab ich gelesen, dass man dafür eine Swap Partition braucht. Da ich den PC recht schnell einrichten wollte, habe ich die Partitionierung automatisch erstellen lassen und darum wurde wohl keine Swap erstellt. Reicht es aus, wenn ich jetzt noch eine Swap Partiton erstelle und sie in die /etc/fstab eintrage oder muss ich noch mehr einstellen?

Unsere automatische Installationsmethode erstellt standardmäßig eine Auslagerungsdatei (die in Ihrem QSI angezeigt wird) und funktioniert genauso wie eine dedizierte Auslagerungspartition. Der XFCE-Bildschirmspeicher ist fehlerhaft und sollte vollständig deinstalliert werden. Sie können ihn durch Light-Locker ersetzen.

Hallo j2mcgreg,

soweit ich gelesen habe, reicht die Swap Datei nicht aus, aber ich werde erstmal Light-Locker probieren. Was meinst du mit XFCE-Bildschirmspeicher, ich glaube die Übersetzeung ist nicht richtig. Screensaver?

Wenn eine Swap Partition angelegt wurde und aktiv ist dann in der Energieverwaltung unter dem Reiter System den Energiesparmodus auf Ruhezustand setzen und eine Aktivierungszeit einstellen.
Zusätzlich kannst du in MX-Tweak Konfigurationsoptionen das Häkchen "Ruhezustand im Log-Out Menü zulassen" aktivieren.

Hab alles so eingestellt, aber so richtig funktioniert es noch nicht. Der PC geht erstmal in den Ruhezustand, wacht dann aber nicht richtig auf. MX Linux fährt bis zum Desktop hoch, aber es funktionieren weder Maus noch Tastatur.

Kleines Update: hab im UEFI/BIOS USB legacy deaktiviert, jetzt fährt der PC bis zum Anmeldebildschirm hoch und da funktioniert auch Maus und Tastatur. Nachdem ich das Passwort eingegeben habe, kommt aber nur ein schwarzer Bildschirm und der Mauszeiger. In /var/log/pm-suspend.log steht zwar überall success, aber ich glaube das betrifft nur das Herunterfahren.
