Yes, that would explain the 1,4GB found by FileFlies, but certainly not the 250GB found by disk mgr,dolphin_oracle wrote: Mon Jul 22, 2024 11:54 am hidden trash files? the usage would show up under the partition managers, but maybe not filelight. Is guess, but I generally trust the partition managers to show the space in use.
I always set the trash up to about 10-30GB size max (3-10% depending on the partition size), and disable it on tmp, swap, and such partition (on Windows, as it's auto on Linux)
So while Itotally understand and agree with the 1,4GB, I'M not sure about the 231GB, hence the question here, is there specifificity to Disk mgr (and partition manager but the seems to have the same root/engine) are they reading through previous files (files that were on the disk before the new ones overwriten) ?
I'M about to delete this partition, I just don't want to have to use partition retrieval in a couple month if it was some ...
hum ...
(stopped in my thoughts)
Maybe I should reboot in HBCD or MediCat and use a partition manager so see "raw" what's actually in there that disk FileFlight doesn't see?
