Nous continuerons quand vous le voudrez, avec plaisir.
Pour l'instant : Avec ce qui précède, les paramètres de la souris et du touchpad ( ainsi que les paramètres du bureau ) sont réinitialisés aux valeurs par défaut (comme pour un nouvel utilisateur), et il ne peut s'agir d'un problème de pilote car c'est la même chose, que ce soit avec Xfce ou Mate. De plus, si c'était un problème avec Xfce et la souris, ce serait la même chose avec le compte de votre femme.
Mais au moins vous pouvez faire ça pour vous assurer que tout ce qui se trouve dans votre
home vous appartienne (pas
root ) :
Redémarrer ou se déconnecter, se connecter.

de retour, je résume:
En ce qui concerne xfce je confirme qu'avec l'user de mon épouse ça fonctionne.
alors je fais en connexion mate avec Bernard
$ sudo rm -R /home/Bernard/.config/xfce4
$ sudo cp -R /home/christine/.config/xfce4 /home/Bernard/.config/
$ sudo chown -R Bernard:Bernard /home/Bernard
déconnexion, reconnexion Bernard xfce --> toujours en panne sur la fenêtre d'accueil du bureau reste fixe ne réagit pas à la souris.
déconnexion, reconnexion mate Bernard --> OK
ça commence à me faire rager !

Vous devez publier la sortie de l'utilitaire QSI. L'utilitaire Quick System Info (QSI) se trouve dans MX Tools et sa sortie est automatiquement formatée pour être utilisée ici dans le forum. Exécutez l'utilitaire QSI, cliquez sur « Copier pour le forum » en bas, puis collez-le ici dans votre fil de discussion.
Cela donnera à @Charlie Brown (et au reste d'entre nous) une idée plus claire de votre situation.

OUF! la dernière proposition était la bonne: elle m'évite une réinstallation complète longue et fastidieuse!
