I try to install mendeley reference manager. I try follow the instruction in https://askubuntu.com/questions/1426894 ... -ubuntu-22.

Where did you get it? I just tried and failed (several times) to download the package from the Mendeley site.

You may consider to run (not install) the executable Appimage as normal user not as root.
