I will correct the issue with an update of mx-system.

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

Hmm. Not sure, installed the deb on a booted relased MX-23.2-AHS
and got now a kernel-panic-maker initrd_release:
by this changed line:

Code: Select all

VERSION="23.2_ahs (Libretto)""
before - after diff:

Code: Select all

diff /etc/initrd_releasw.MX-23.2-AHS.orig /etc/initrd_release
2c2
< VERSION="23.2_ahs (Libretto)"
---
> VERSION="23.2_ahs (Libretto)""

Hi guys,

Thanks for following up. Do you still need any logs or information from me? Or the issue has been identified?

Regards

I think we found the root cause, no need for more info, just take a snapshot and report if you see any problem, but this should be fixed (if you updated mx-system).

Just do a regular update, it should come though apt get. Thanks for the report and patience!

Snapshot is working perfectly after the mx-system update. I'm booted into it right now. Snapshot is 5GB. Everything was normal during creation.

Great work guys! Thank you!
calm down.... it's only ones and zeroes...
