Forse dovresti passare alla nostra distribuzione sorella, Antix, che è specificatamente pensata per i computer più vecchi come il tuo.

Si avevo intenzione di passare ad Antix, aspettavo il '24 quando scadeva il supporto per la 19.4
Comunque cercavo una vecchia versione .deb di HPlip, ho trovato questo: https://packages.debian.org/it/sid/i386/hplip/download
Solo che il download http://ftp.it.debian.org/debian/pool/ma ... 3_i386.deb
viene bloccato perchè da una pagina hpps vengo reindirizzato ad una htpp non sicura.
Cosa ne pensi?

Scaricato il file .run ma purtroppo la mia versione di MX 19.4 che è supportata fino al 06/2024 non lo è più da Hplip

Ho provato la stessa cosa con Debian 10.6 da cui deriva la mia point release ma mi mancano delle dipendenze per concludere l'installazione.
Qualche idea?

Capisco perfettamente il tuo desiderio di mantenere in funzione il vecchio kit come questa stampante il più a lungo possibile. Tuttavia, questa stampante è stata eliminata da HP e nessuna quantità di modifiche in MX cambierà la situazione. È giunto il momento di procurarti una nuova stampante.
