In my most significant feature rollout, I'm proud to introduce a color adjustment feature specifically designed for visually impaired persons. With six color modes to choose from, users can customize their viewing experience to their visual preferences, making reading PDFs more comfortable than ever before.

P.S..Until version 1.3.5 the Deb Package provided by the developer operated on MX-23.

Re: Request MX-23: PDF4QT 1.3.6
But...but...it brings in Qt 6 dependencies!
Code: Select all
Package: PDF4QT
Version: 1.3.4
Section: base
Priority: optional
Architecture: amd64
Depends: libqt6gui6, libqt6xml6, libqt6svg6, libqt6openglwidgets6, libtbb12, libqt6printsupport6, libqt6texttospeech6, qt6-speech-speechd-plugin, qt6-speech-flite-plugin
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

Is a backport (version 1.3.6) to MX-23 (Debian-12) possible?

Re: Request MX-23: PDF4QT 1.3.6 [Solved]
The developer released a package for Debian 12:

Re: Request MX-23: PDF4QT 1.3.6 [Solved]
The dev doesn't really say how they built the deb, though the source has some kind of script that seems to assemble a deb from parts laying around instead of using the very fine Debian packaging system. Doing that seems to me a lot like piloting a car at speed through an obstacle course by climbing out onto the hood, jamming a tire iron into the steering assembly, and then making turns by wrenching it to the right or left, when the steering wheel is right there.
But maybe I'm wrong...

I understand you. If you can make a package for MX-23 that conforms to Debian 12 and its standards I would appreciate it.Stevo wrote: Sun Nov 26, 2023 10:46 pm The dev doesn't really say how they built the deb, though the source has some kind of script that seems to assemble a deb from parts laying around instead of using the very fine Debian packaging system.
