Windows Manager Tweaks (Fine-tune..) bugfix?

#1 Post by Sigi »

May be since MX 21 I found out, a strange setting, probably I'm not using the workspace like most others do. Just use only one workspace and like to move windows to the edges for auto-resize 1/2 or 1/4. On fresh install MX 21/23 I found out, to do this, to achieve my preferred way of working:

After reducing workspace from 2 to 1, I do this:

Windows Manager Tweaks (Fine-tune..) / Accessibility / Auto.. tile win when mov to scr edge > toggle OFF/ON (may be a bugfix?) THX MX Team!

I only use one workspace and this seems to be the same for me. Window Snap to edges is set in the compositor I believe and works fine for this for me.
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!

At ~ 40:00 of this video for
move windows to the edges for auto-resize 1/2 or 1/4
etc.
https://invidious.drgns.space/watch?v=EO7yd5yWN7c

You're welcome, plus you have the maximize window shortcut which toggles.
I don't think it was included in the video as there is a default setting for this, but I mention - even though it's obvious, because it's related.
