Help for Current Versions of MX
When asking for help, use Quick System Info from MX Tools. It will be properly formatted using the following steps.
1. Click on Quick System Info in MX Tools
2. Right click in your post and paste.

These are probably the two most popular files if you are downloading the latest software from various websites. AppImageLauncher can be useful if running AppImage files on your system and you want the appimage app to be integrated into the system.

If the packages are installable by one of the methods that MXPI is capable of, the user doesn't really have to know about deb files at all.
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

Agree, but eventually you find you want the latest version of something.
