[SOLVED] Using my Drives

I have two 1tb internal drives (ext3 formatted with gparted) that I can see but not use. I have tried using the command line to change permissions but am continuously denied. Are there any tips or special tricks that I need to know in order to use them?

I tried changing the permissions with chmod commands.

It says "cannot access 'media/ricky/sdb' " lsblk says that's the name. I know I could be wrong, if I am I want to know how.

When all (whichever you want to change) are mounted (there) you can use the *

... /media/ricky/*

Thanks! It was mounted. I had to use the label I gave it. I knew it could be my fault somehow. How can I make the drives auto mount at startup now?

Just "Disk Manager" from menu. Simple to use , gui :)
