Certainly not sure, but it appears that your Task Manager panel has been extended pas the size where the System Tray resides.

My Understanding is that there are three files that contain the settings for most of your plasma desktop and applications, and I would assume most of these settings are in this one:

~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc

You might look through there for Task Manager or TaskManager and see what you can find, remark it out and see what happens. (I believe you have to logout and back in again to see changes. )

If you prefer a "reset" method, then save these three files to some safe place and then remove all three of the files in your ~/.config , logout and then back in and it should all be back to defaults. (warning - I believe this resets FAR more than just TaskManager settings - if it is too much, put these files back and you should restore it all.)

Code: Select all

rm ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc
rm ~/.config/plasmashellrc
rm ~/.config/plasmarc

*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!

Here is another way it manifests. It seems to have something to do with pinned to task manager programs.
