Problems to install chromium-l10n

#1 Post by keos »

Hello,

I need to change chromium to spanish, (website can't be translated, yes, it is configurated but ...) so the lenguage package for this is 'chromium-l10n' and it is in the synaptic but can't be installed, i got this error:
"The chromium-l10n package does not have a version available, but exists in the database.
This usually means that the package was mentioned in a dependency and was never uploaded, has been declared obsolete or is not available in the sources.list contents."
Neither by the terminal.

Should I add another repository, which one?.

Thanks

Thank you .

It looks like the chromium-l10n package has not been updated for chromium engine 114. The best method is to request a package update and see if some can update it.

I was able to find an updated one, but not sure about the source. ;-/

It is in debian security.

The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing
