Plasma 5.27

#1 Post by AlphaElwedritsch »

Hello
I was told I should ask my question here, so now again in what I hope is the right forum:

Is it possible to get plasma 5.27 also running in wildflower right now, or only with using alpha?

thx

I don't think it is possible to run plasma 5.27 atop debian bullseye nor MX21. It is possible though to run 5.24 LTS or 5.25 using a third-party repository, see instructions here.

If you have further questions, please post them on the relevant thread, *not* the MX23 alpha KDE thread

The effort for this is not really worth it.
I'm waiting for MX-23 Libretto and will continue to use 5.20 until then. It works fine ;)

But thanks again for the tip

Pretty much my conclusion, too (even after trying 5.24). There are even aspects of 5.20 I like better (e.g. the system monitor and cover switch effect).

Yes, but upgrading to libretto brings 5.27 with the new features/style ;)
