Dialog Box Keeps Popping Up

#1 Post by LinuxVic »

Hi MX Team,

I'm currently using the latest version of MX (KDE) and I've been experiencing an issue where a pop-up keeps appearing asking for an Authentication Dialog for the site mail.google.com. Previously, I was using Kmail as my email client but I uninstalled it because the password I used for authentication was not working. However, I am still getting the pop-up constantly. How can I remove this pop-up?

Thank You,
Victor

Please post your Quick System Info. Copy it for the forum, then just paste it. The code tags needed will already be added.

I believe this is being caused by K Wallet. Open the Wallet Manager and find the Kmail entry and delete it. You may have to delete the Chromium or gmail keys too, but try the Kmail entry first.
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!
