KDE Conncect does no longer work

#1 Post by Sigurdfs »

Hello,
As usual I wanted to transfer files from my computer to my tablet and smartphone and from my tablet to my computer. In the past it worked fine. "KDE Connect" in the system settings knew the two other devices and connected with them. But now nothing. No device will be recognized. Here is the QSI:

Does anybody know what I can do to fix that problem?

Sometimes you just have to reboot

The system settings KDE Connect does not show any other device (no tablet) and my tablet does not schow any other device (my computer) to connect to. A restart does not change anything.

I found the reason: the firewall did not allow incomming connection. I changed this and KDE Connect is working again. Problem solved!
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Sigurd
