Control volume of bluetooth speaker

#1 Post by retired »

I have a Lenovo T60 that has a volume control on the keyboard that controls the volume of the built in speakers or the headphone jack but when I use a working bluetooth speaker the vol control doesn't control it. Is there a way in MX Linux I can change that ? Thanks.

In Volume Control and on the Output Devices tab, try clicking on the green icon
(Set As Fallback) next to the bluetooth device. As I recall this fixed that issue for me.
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!

Got it working - thanks - had to hunt around in 'volume control, audio mixer and playback and that did it.
