How remove widget

#1 Post by Tovian »

I've changed my desktop background to a solid color but there is something (widget?) that is displaying the current time/date/system-info in the upper right corner (see screen-cap below). It is interfering with my desktop layout. How can I get rid of this item ?
TIA

That is a conky. Start conky manager and scroll down until you find a check mark next to that conky and uncheck it.

You can also move it around the desktop instead of getting rid of it.
