From his webpage:
“This is the part where you hate me… The removal of Openbox and SLiM and all of the associated customizations and scripts was too deep to fix with Repository Packages or Updates. If you want the new changes with the full XFCE4 Desktop etc. then I’m afraid the only way to get them is to install from the ISO. You cannot update all changes from AVL-MXE 21.1 to 21.2.1 through regular updates..”

Thank you for all the work, we are lucky with you, that you share your work!!!
It seems AV Linux is an initial point of contact for many people trying Audio and Video production on Linux
Yes it is, and it will be that for more and more people.
the limitations and caveats imposed by Openbox were not the best decision in hindsight.
Remove Openbox in my opinion you maded the right choice.

One' s more thanks, I remember AV Linux from probably 10 years ago as RockSolid.

Thanks Crojav

What about yourself are you happy with the results? In the first place it is your workstation!

Haha, I always see there is more to do and how things could be improved further, but I do think this is one of the best ones so far mostly because the applications are so good..
