This is my first post on this esteemed forum. I've been playing with Linux for a year or so and with Mx for several months. I'm still leary of the Terminal but can use it if necessary.
On this machine when I install the Nvidia drivers using the tools menu I lose my decryption prompt on boot. All I see is a black screen. I can enter my decryption password at that point and the system boots. I have searched the forums and DDGo'd for answers feeling surely it must happen to others but found nothing describing my situation. As the system is still usable it is not a huge deal but I do get intramfs errors when I update. I have tried reinstalling and boot repair in tools but no joy. The stuff below is from today's install.
