PHP 8.1 install

#1 Post by Hazcrew »

Is anybody running PHP 8.1 and where there any issues installing or otherwise?
I'm using a local inbuilt PHP web server to test my website before uploading, my web host is using 8.1 so I wanted to match it locally.
I'm running MX-21-2_KDE_X64

thanks in advance for any help

I could try backporting 8.1.5 from Debian testing for our test repo.

OK, I just sent it up to the MX 21 test repo. I tried installing the amd64 packages from my local-apt-repository directory in /srv, and didn't encounter any problems in doing so.

Will try MX 19 builds tomorrow.

You should be able to now install "php8.1" using MX Package Installer and the test repo tab.
