OK. The update came today only it still wanting to remove one packcage: bash-config*.

Code: Select all

root@kaos:~# LANG=C apt-get remove --purge mx-viewer
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
  libminizip1 libqt5positioning5 libqt5webchannel5 libqt5webengine-data libqt5webenginecore5
  libqt5webenginewidgets5 libre2-9
Use 'apt autoremove' to remove them.
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  bash-config* mx-viewer*
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 2 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
After this operation, 1190 kB disk space will be freed.
Do you want to continue? [Y/n]
Thanks.

Intel Core i7-1165G7
Iris Xe Graphics

Same here... apt is warning to remove the bash-config script and related files.

Would it be safe to proceed with removal --> and then re-install 'bash-config' from MXPI stable-repo tab?

I don’t think bash-config was updated. Will get to it today.

Thank you for marking the thread.

Just: why root@kaos:~#

and not just the user ?

(... Of course, it's your life and your pc/system .. but you know it's not a good habit)

I have never been able to understand very well what better possibilities it gives to me in practice to use the user instead of #. :turtle:
