Write in Swedish with azerty
Re: Write in Swedish with azerty
I think on French AZERTY keyboard layout: You may type those letters Å-Ångström and diaeresis/umlauts äöü characterscalixtus06 wrote: Wed Jun 08, 2022 9:18 am Hello, there are some letters that I can't manage to do with my azerty: å ä ö . Especially when chatting on the internet.

by using the "dead-key" the one-right of "P"
like this:
Umlaut - äöü
Hold AltGr ( or Shift ) and press dead-key right of "p", release and type any of a,o,u Å - Ångström
Hold AltGr and Shift_Right press key right of "p", release and type A You can also use Onboard keyboard to type those letters with mouse and click.

so we have a better idea what keyboard layout is actually in use:
Code: Select all
setxkbmap -query
Otherwise post QSI "Quick System Info" text-report.
