Hi,
Below is from kde forum, can us do anything regarding the below,
I found a bug report that might shed some information: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=411489#c10
Please check with your distribution, maybe not all elements necessary for it to run are on the same version. e.g. your kernel doesn't appear to be very recent to start with, 5.10 is outdated to say the least.

Re: error when connecting android phone for file transfer
Looks like it's not the kernel (mine is the default one), but probably the latest Plasma/framework (running 5.24LTS from Norbert's repos)

Re: error when connecting android phone for file transfer
So how can I solve the issue
Re: error when connecting android phone for file transfer
Maybe something like https://askubuntu.com/questions/1362326 ... untu-20-04
There are also reports that installing mtp-tools (and/or libmtp) fixed the issue

Re: error when connecting android phone for file transfer
So, just an update today on my original Google Pixel 3 and USB file transfer with MX21, I found that my original USB file transfer kept crapping out after trying to transfer media files from the phone to the PC. And then, I would have to re-mount the phone again when it failed, and retried - which always failed. It never worked for me, and I tried all the available ptp mtp file transfer tools to do so (all recommended by different users), but they too did not work. I finally resolved to Windows to do this. Then somewhere in between the MX21 sw load upgrades on my PC and the different linux kernel upgrades from 5.10 to now 6.0.0-6, I retried the Google Pixel 3 in a normal USB file transfer, and its working flawlessly. Amazing! So, one of the linux kernels (IMHO) unlocked or had better support for the USB file transfer. Suffice to say, if it does not work, don't give up. The continuous device support from the linux community will eventually find a way!
Mixed of desktops and laptops, I have a Gravis Ultrasound Classic card (unfortunately its ISA-slot based) ... - I must be a dino.
