Configure screen setting not working [SOLVED]

#1 Post by mega »

Hi,
I have installed MX Linux 21. When installling get black srcreen. So I type 'ro quite nomodeset'. Then I successfully installed MX. But, the display is quite bigger. So, I want to change using Display. In the menu, although there is dropdown but it only can choose 'default'. The resolution is also just only choose one choice. I can choose the scale with other option. But, it is not working. When I run 'Display', it back to the beginning. So, how to setting the display?

Hi,
From https://www.linux.org/threads/uhd630-is ... ved.29527/ , finally I change to MX-21_x64 “ahs”, and the display is normal. I don't need to type 'nomodeset' in boot option. So, the problem is resolved.
