Papirus-Folders (editing tool)

#1 Post by manyroads »

If you like Papirus icons and want to change the icon colors, here's a neat little tool:

https://github.com/Adapta-Projects/Papi ... on-Creator

Perhaps one of the devs would consider adding it to the repos.... :lipsrsealed: :bagoverhead:

You can also do the same with Oomox theme designer, You can make any color of Papirus folders and many other kinds too (Numix, Suru, etc)!

Oomox is already in the MX Repos BTW, this is an entire theme including the custom folder color made in Oomox:
thunar-papirus.png
The color scheme really isn't important, each to their own and what you can do with Oomox is infinitely more powerful than the papirus-folders script
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Papirus-folders is so small and useful i wish it was installed by default. Could this be considered for MX21 ?

I'll see about getting the latest version in the test repos, though. I just finished a struggle getting mkvtoolnix 61 to build on MX 21--the solution was to give up on building it with the default gcc-10 and telling it to build with gcc-9 instead.

Edit: This seems to be the official github with releases, too: https://github.com/PapirusDevelopmentTe ... us-folders

Yup, that's the one I used. Put on your 'this isn't English as a first language filters'... I found mine necessary. ;)

1.9.0 should be in the test repos soon, or get it early in this zip: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1whRKxE ... sp=sharing
