Chronic Type-os

#1 Post by wasmith1946 »

I 6have been having a pro\blem typing on my desktop computer. While 6my typing is accurate, the computer puts in a backslash \before or after a \b, |B gets a pipe \before it, 6sometimes 6a space gets the num\ber 6 after it, and when I type an i, very often the cursor either jumps to a point \below where I'm typing if there's any text \below my insertion 6point. If I'm in 6the middle 6of a sentence when I type an i, it will delete the part of the sentence following it.

I 6had 6this same trou\ble on my laptop, earlier, \but it has stopped doing 6it.

Could you plug in a different keyboard and see if it has the same issues?

Re: Chronic Type-os - FIXED

I received this suggestion from another source, swapped with a different keyboard, and I learned that my one-year-old wireless keyboard was at fault. I replaced my keyboard yesterday with great results.

Thanks.
