Thank you so muc for the advice, I assume once I install the mx-installer deb, it will integrate itself into the mx-snapshot binary?
Or is this going to be part of the LUB?

the installer is just an app. if its present, snasphot should put a icon for it on the desktop of the snapshot iso when its made.

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

hmmm, looks like you don't need to remaster before running snapshot app. I got confused.

Just add your customisation configs from your /home to /etc/skel

Watch the vid and adapt accordingly since here, dolphin is making a customised MATE snapshot from antiX base iso.

NB. In antiX, the snapshot app is called iso-snapshot.

DO has a video tutorial on this. But it was for MX/antiX snapshots, not Debian Bulleye, of course.
This must be the best kept secret of MX :) Thanks you so much buddy! I will definitely try this tomorow, - once I add the MX installer deb in the mix
It’s actually not MX specific ;)

The *X installer? No, that brings in everything that ends with X.

Sorry, had too much coffee this AM. There needs to be a respin for the overcaffeinated dubbed "FrantiX". Image
