Hi, having a problem with VLC playing videos located on a network share, i resolved this last time had the issue by installing the SMB plugin/extension? and all was well.
Just tried to access a file again and now i get the same error message i had before which i believe indicates a SMB issue. I have checked the settings for the SMB access within VLC and it is all configured correctly. Tried uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling with no luck, any ideas what i can do next?

Glenn.

11/11/21: Updated as per Admin request. Also apologies, I followed the instructions regarding obtaining output from QuickInfo and pasting into post, it did not say anything about wrapping it in a “code” tag.

to wrap the information inside of code tags. Example:
log file contents, configuration file contents and terminal text go here
Code: Select all

to make it look like this, which is a lot easier to read for large amounts of text:
1. It really stands out as being separate from the text that you're typing due to the different background and font colors
2. It also puts it inside of its own little frame with its own scrollbars, making it easier to navigate.

To do this, select the text by dragging your mouse over it while holding the left button down then click the </> icon in the forum's editor's toolbar and click the Submit button.

Thanks.
