Streaming music to Airport Express

I apologize if this isn't the right forum.

I'm in the process of switching from a MacBook Pro sytem to Linux and, having decided on MX-Linux, sorted my Office, graphics, and email, I'm now turning to my audio.

My current Mac OSX system comprises Swinsian as my music player. It streams via AirPlay to an Airport Express, then feeds directly into an Arcam Solo receiver-based hifi system.

What is the preferred music player and how can I get it to stream to the Airport Express? (I'd prefer to do it wirelessly.)

Welcome. Have you searched the forum? Someone else asked the same question a few months ago and was given some answers, but I don't remember whether or not he got it working. Search for airport express and you'll find it.
