I'm working with m_pav and DO on the 19.3 Base Fluxbox version, and would like some help.

We would like to know whether this new HELP icon, which has a couple of distinct advantages, will make sense.

Does the caption give you a clear message?

It confuses me as it is situated above welcome. Why question welcome?

To me it doesn't make sense there.

The caption being "welcome help" ?

Not with the ? icon above it. It is help only in my eyes. Welcome doesn't fit there.

Do have to note my ASD brain is wired differently, so YMMV. To me it's weird that way.

I agree with ER.

"Welcome" and "Help" are a bit weird together. Maybe there's a word that covers both, something like "Documentation"? (just an idea)

You're missing a few characters in trying to make sense: the pipe routinely indicates a choice, the angles direction.

Left-click: Welcome
Right-click: Help

I should probably give up...

You could go with something along the lines of: Welcome, here's HELP if you need it. As it stands it looks like that a user will get a welcome if he clicks on the left and help if he clicks o the right. The white question mark on the red background is just tautology -- you're saying thing twice.
