gpg2.2.x available anywhere?

noticed my gpg2 is old 2.1.18 and there are security updates
but nothing showing for updates to MX18.3
anyone have gpg2.2 MX packaged?

Yes.
In the MX Package Installer choose the Debian Backports tab and search for gnupg
