Thank you. I'll keep an eye out for that. I am not yet using version 6 in production. I am wary speedy development. I don't have time for unintended consequences.andyprough wrote: Fri May 22, 2020 11:54 pm Me too, but I had to reinstall them for my Linux VM in the jump from 6.1.4 to 6.1.6 recently. So I was glad to see that problem did not recur. May have been particular to my system though, I did not spend any time exploring it further.

Re: MX-19 Repository - The VirtualBox thread
Updated to 6.1.10 in the test repo. Among other changes, this is supposed to be compatible with the 5.7 kernel.

6.1.6 is working so well I don't want to mess with success. Is there any security reason we would need this one Stevo?Stevo wrote: Mon Jun 08, 2020 1:01 am Updated to 6.1.10 in the test repo. Among other changes, this is supposed to be compatible with the 5.7 kernel.
EDIT - never mind, answered my own question, I don't see any security fixes in 6.1.8 or 6.1.10 change logs.

Re: MX-19 Repository - The VirtualBox thread
Updated to the latest 6.1.16 in the MX 19 test repo, backported from Debian Sid. Among other improvements, this version will build and work on 5.9 kernels.
This is not a trivial backport, but I documented my tweaks in debian/changelog.

Re: MX-19 Repository - The VirtualBox thread
Updated 6.1.18 in testing and AHS to "-3~mx19+1", which adds a patch from Sid to allow builds on 5.11 kernels.
Re: MX-19 Repository - The VirtualBox thread
We now have the latest 6.1.20 in the MX 19 test (and MX 21 main) repositories. Since Repology is flagging our current versions in main as insecure, we'd like to have this in main. It also will support up to and including 5.12 kernels, and fixes a bug that caused very slow performance on some hardware.
It's working fine for me on a 5.10 MX 19 kernel, but we need more testers. Please let us know how it installs with MX Package Installer/ Test Repo tab, and how it performs. Thanks!

Re: MX-19 Repository - The VirtualBox thread
Updated to the latest 6.1.22 version, backported from Debian Sid, for the MX 19 and 17 test repos.
