Openjre-8 update causing font blurring with MoneyDance

I already tried your suggestion in reply #4 without success, so I guess they used JavaFX. Hopefully the developers will get back to me...

Prior to trying MX I used another Debian stable derivative distro which had already moved to Buster, and the fonts were fine, so maybe the problem will be fixed in MX 19.x

I want to update the thread with my latest finding. I took the hold off openjdk-8-jre and upgraded to openjdk-8-jre/oldstable,now 8u242-b08-1~deb9u1. (I'm still running 18.3). The fonts are now displaying just fine. So recent upgrades have solved this problem. Thanks guys!
