Dark theme made for MX-19

#1 Post by Jerry3904 »

I was looking for some other MXFB themes over coffee this morning, and ran across this Dark-Olympic that is very highly rated (80%):

https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1302313/

Works with GTK2 and GTK3. Lower right corner super easy to grab (little gap is visible).

Personal preference of course, but it looks a little more refined than the current MXFB theme.

Question, are the windows as easily grabbable in XFCE as compared to Fluxbox?

Haven't tried it yet in Xfce.

LATER: not as easy, no.

Nice theme but hard to grab window edges in XFCE.

Looks washed out.
I am command line illiterate. I copy & paste to the terminal. Liars, Wiseguys, Trolls, and those without manners will be added to my ignore list.

Is it basically Arc Dark with some bold text in places? I installed it directly from the website with ocs-url, and that's what it looks like. It didn't affect my wider window borders, since that's being provided by a different theme package.

Theming depends on user taste so there is no right or wrong. I personally like the dark themes better but it's up to the user which is best for them. For sharper theming you might want to look at material and it's derivatives. https://www.xfce-look.org/p/1318133/

I looked at this and I like it except that in my left hand panel/taskbar the window icons are extremely small - anyone know how to size them up a bit?

Right click the panel > Properties> select Appearance> unselect "Adjust size automatically" then adjust "Fixed icon size."
