MX is really impressive.

My P4 laptop was almost happy with 1 go of ram and MX16. But it's too much for an old processor. Feasible but not so pleasant.

@cyrilus31... I guess than with a P4 laptop 32bits, you needs 2 times less memory than a laptop 64bits (with software coded in 64bits) for the same "smoother behavior".

I came to MX from a distro that sells itself as "Lite," but it's got all kindsa extra stuff and it's very slow compared with MX on the same machine. It also lacks MX's supercool tools! I wrote about it on my blog (see my signature tagline).
