MX14 final running with KDE standard installed. KDE screensaver starts automatically at the appropriate time, but I can't get xscreensaver setup to auto-run. When I go to preview it tells me xscreensaver daemon is not running, do I want to start it. If I do then everything works. How do I autostart the daemon at bootup?
TIA

Personal: Lenovo X1 Carbon with MX-23 Fluxbox

Re: xscreensaver not autostarting
I remember there's some package you need to integrate xscreensaver and the KDE screensaver engine...is kscreensaver-xscreensaver installed?
Re: xscreensaver not autostarting
Did not need a script. Added program per Stevo suggestion and then added xscreensaver -demo to Ststemsettingd autostart.
