Can someone confirm this so it can be added to known issues.
Nope, it opens QupZilla here on two different installs.

It fails if I uninstall QupZilla and install Firefox however.

Can we make sure it opens the default browser?

Thanks. No I somehow missed there was a patch.

You have to patch the ISO and reinstall to get all the changes, I think.

Installing Samba via metapackage-installer...solves the problem...but still needs to be fixed in the default install, obviously.
I'm a bit mystified by this. I can browse network shares (NTFS) from Thunar with no problem. I have just checked it running live and then immediately after a fresh install. Navigating from 'Browse Network' to the shared folder (partition in this case) adds a Network entry 'smb://Annesroom/Winfiles' which I can then use directly. I have to repeat the navigation on subsequent boots.

Am I the only one for whom this is working?

Catfish still shows the search alternative "locate". Locate isn't installed and even if you install it and all the recommended and suggested packages, catfish is crashing when you use it.
It's better if catfish is set to show "find" only.

Was that behavior using the RC menu in Thunar, or starting up catfish independently?

Inside Thunar it is set to find by default, and maybe we need to take catfish out of the menu (visible=no).

Its in the catfish window that opens after selecting "find files here" from the thunar menu, AND the regular catfish launch. Its a "feature" of the program.

It was after starting catfish indenpendently. To be able to do fulltext search, you have to change "find" to "locate". Haven't tested the RC menu in Thunar.

Some simple configuration can probably hide "fulltext search" and "locate". A search app is needed for daily use, at least if you keep on mislaying stuff all the time.
