For general information. I just changed from Spectrum to Brightspeed for my ISP. Below is a cut and paste from Reddit for solving a problem where my Blink Sync Module 2 could not connect to the internet via wifi. It kept reporting that the correct wifi password was incorrect. You need to do a hard reset or firmware reset to delete existing login credentials stored in the device. Might be necessary whenever your ISP is changed. None of my other devices had a problem with the wifi setup.
Directions:
My module wasn't connecting to wifi, kept telling me my password was incorrect. I hope it works for you. Hard to find this info anywhere on the web for some reason.
This is what we call FIRMWARE RESET, this is a unique way of resetting the module, so please follow the steps accordingly.
-First, unplug the SM and wait 30 seconds.
-For this next step, you will need a pin or paperclip handy. While your SM is unplugged, press and hold down the reset button on the right side of the Sync Module, then plug it back into power without releasing the reset button.
-Continue holding that reset button until you see a flashing red light on the SM.
-Once you've seen the flashing red light, you can release the reset button.
-After resetting the synch module, wait patiently (about a minute at the most) for the solid blue light to change back into a solid green blinking blue light pattern. This pattern means the firmware has been reset on the SM, and it is ready to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.
-In the Blink app, select the Change Wi-Fi Network option from the list displayed. Or, if your Sync Module has already been deleted from the app, go ahead and try re-adding it to your system.
-Should connect as expected after the hard reset.
