I'm currently running MX LINUX 21.2 XFCE version installed on SSD. My separate Home partition is in my HDD.
I want to install the MX 23 KDE version in place of the MX 21 XFCE version & leave alone the Home partition as it is.
Will it work?
Can I install KDE version in place of XFCE without touching the Home partition? [Solved]

yes.
if there are any existing KDE config files in your home folder, those will also be used.
