Hello,
Trying to install MX23 to a partition on a GPT disk. Problem - installer doesn't allow ext4 partiton, only FAT32 is available. No problem if partition table is MSDOS.
/dev/sda is an MSDOS disk, /dev/nvme0n1 is a GPT disk.
How to solve this?
TIA

Did you use KDE partition manager or Gparted before going into installing, could be of help, I use KDEpm before an install reduces any likely errors during install.

I deleted the target partition and re-created it using KDE partition manager, this seems to have solved the problem. Thanks a lot.

Looks Ike you partition might have been marked as an esp partition. In which case we do force fat32.
If it was marked as an esp that would likely be an error that existed before the installer started.
