There will also be a total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024.

Very cool. I remember the experience of that back in 2017.

I've been monitoring my 10 day forecast for a week now hoping for clear skies to
possibly catch the eclipse on the 14th but it's shaping up to be wet. Typical Oregon weather. :(

Hopefully someone else on the forum can catch it.

Good luck @CharlesV. I got to experience the event in 2017 when the totality path was just two hours South of me.

Thanks! I'm just south east of the "90%" path, so if the weather holds it might be decent!

I've seen several partials, but have never experienced a total eclipse. The April 24 path goes right over my home (Bloomington IN). Hope I make it that long.

Those in the San Antonio Texas region will get to experience totality in 2023 and 2024.
