Hy all.
I made a complete Backup of my current system to have it transferred to a new laptop.
I used MX Snapshot to create that iso.
I then used MX Live USB Maker to write it on a 500 GB USB SSD - it took up close to 300 GB on that SSD.
I can now boot the system - but how can I now install that completely backuped system onto the laptops SSD?
I don't see an INSTALL LIVE SYSTEM command or program anywhere.
What am I missing???
How to install the backuped ISO from MX Live USB maker?? [Solved]

possible the link isn't on the desktop, but there should be an installer link in mx-welcome, or
from a run prompt or terminal.
Code: Select all
minstall-launcher

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

Hi Dolphin Oracle,
Thanks so much for that crucial piece of advice.
Things are always simple if one knows where to look.
Thanks again.
