Cannot install Betterbird

Hi, I am a mx newbie trying out KDE 21.3 which I am liking very much. I can’t seem to install Betterbird and the Thunderbird version s extremely old. Any ideas?

Open MX Package Installer (MXPI) and go to the MX Test Repo tab. You'll find T'bird 102.13.0 is there.

If you dig around the forum you'll find various threads on why 78 is still the standard installed version.

Thanks but I want Betterbird not thunderbird.

you can install it from the flatpaks area in MX package installer
