Best update notifier? [Solved]

I removed Discover as I really dislike it. I disabled its notifications. Can someone suggest a notifier for updates that can reside in the task bar in KDE? I searched Synaptic and MXPI but couldn't find anything like that.

Thanks, I ran the command but don't see the notifier.

sometimes it hides in the notification area. Plasma has settings that hide a lot of tray items. it will probably show up when there are updates.

the notifier won't start the first time without a logout/login though, or manually starting it from the menu.
