Configure lucky backup in MX-21 KDE [Solved]

Hi people,
I've been trying to configure lucky backup in MX-21 KDE and can't work out how to do it. I've been doing it a long time in MX-19 xfce. I have my data files that I want to backup on a separate sdd and I want to back them up onto a USB.

Here's the screen I get in MX-21 KDE from which to select source and destination:

But then when I go to do a dry run, the system tells me I've selected nothing to do:

In MX-19 xfce I was able to use the dialogue box to select the source as /media/dData/ and the destination as /media/beegees/monthly2/ddata/. But as you can see in MX-21 KDE the dialogue box gives different results.

Even when I manually input those values to the dialogue screen in the second image, the system changes them to what's in the second image and then, of course, I get the 'nothing to do' message again.

Can anyone provide any help configuring lucky backup in MX-21 KDE please or refer me to documentation that can?

in my SOURCE window it includes path of /home/"username"whatever yours is/"filename"like "documents

You don't have to select source and destination via the window. Simply type in the same as you had in MX-19, assuming your file structure is the same in both systems.

Thanks, GB. I didn't have much luck trying to type the source and destination into the window. The system changed what I'd typed back into directories that didn't work.

Thanks too j: What did work was selecting my home directory as you suggested, /media/beegees in my case. That directory consists of nothing apart from hidden files and symlinks to directories on my data drive that I've named dData. In the MX-21 KDE I now use I've used that directory (/media/beegees/) as source and /media/beegees/monthly2 (the USB) as the destination and completed both a dry run and full backup without error. Using MX-19 xfce, I was able to get directly to the data disk, sdd1, /dData/ with my configuration. I did this because, if memory serves, it wouldn't backup what the symlinks pointed to. But now in MX-21 KDE it does backup what the symlinks point to and doesn't allow me to point directly to the data disk. But it works OK!
