23.5 bluetooth mouse not found / connecting

#1 Post by MikeComm »

After upgrade to 23.5 my bluetooth mouse will not connect even while still seen in blueman gui screen. I deleted the mouse using blueman gui and mouse can no longer be found using search. Other items show up with search but not the mouse. I also made various attempts using bluemanctl options- no success.
Any others experience this and have a work-around? Thank you.

Have you replaced the battery in the mouse with a known good one?
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

Yes, I have an identical problem
I've tried two different mice (which work on other machines), both on a Lenovo Thinkpad Laptop and a PC and no cursor movement is possible
I am updated to date

Update: It's now working without doing anything except to accept the system updates...

All of you with these issues need to start your own topics. Do not steal someone else's. Thank you.

SOLVED
I solved it by getting a Tecknet mouse and it is working with the Mediatek WIFI.
I also intend to replace my Mediatek MT7921 WIFI with the Intel AX210NGW just because I've had too many issues with same.
