Re: Network problem

Sorry, I forgot saying I was on a DELL Optiplex 760 running MX 21 with a wired connectiopn, but I just solved it removing torbrowser launcher. I think it set up a Tor bridge and system was unable tu connect to normal net, even it sounds very strange.

Network problem

Good morning. I have a problem connecting to the Internet on a machine with MX. One day, after starting it, the connection manager in the notification tray shows the connected network icon, but when going to Firefox and searching for anything, it shows there is no connection. I tried changing the ...

Re: BusyBox prob

I don' t think that's the problem, because the only OS installed on that PC in MX and disk is set to AHCI.
For System Info, I can' t post QSI yet, but I know I'm on an Asrock B75M Dash motherboard with 2x4 GB
DDR3, Intel Core i5 3rd Gen and 480GB SATA3 SSD.

Re: BusyBox prob

Fsck reported inconsistency on rootmx23 partition, and I didn' t mean I couldn't shutdown it from busybox, T couldn't' t shutdown it from MX desktop menu button immediately before noticing the problem, because it was unresponsive. I can' t access to the target computer now, so I can' t post QSI nor ...

Re: BusyBox prob

And I think I tried to boot with another kernel, and got same results. I don't know how GRUB parameters might be invalid, since I haven't changed anything since installation.

P.S:I tried to boot to another kernel now and got the same results. Busybox says that fsck returned status code 4.

Re: BusyBox prob

"The same thing" is that after a forced shutdown (by power button, because I couldn't 't shutdown it via software), rebooting PC I noticed that after splash screen, without any error screens, it boots to busybox and if I run the "exit" command it tries to run fsck but fails and says it needs manual ...

Re: BusyBox prob

Sorry, I'm new here and in other forums I was used to doing it this way. I suspected that QSI was the Quick System Info program, but I thought there was a feature in the editor to put it in the footer. Regarding the problem, can you help me? Now I am on another pc, so I can' t post system infos.
