I had a situation when I was attempting to run 5 monitors where I got into a back screen with blinking cursor and I deleted my displays.xml file and it resolved it. Might be worth a try to rename that file or move it some place and reboot and see ?
~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml ...

I can only attach the OS and device info of the first copy.
That QSI was taken on the first MX load?

That generally means that your home partition is full, but your QSI shows only 13.7% usage, so it's clearly not the case..

A couple of things to try:
-- if you can access a terminal, run this command:
sudo adduser username
Give "username" a password and accept the defaults for the prompts that follow. Once the procedure is complete, close the terminal, reboot and try to login as the new user. If you can successfully ...
